Orchidopexy for Undescended Testes
Undescended testes (cryptorchidism) is a condition where one or both testes fail to descend into the scrotum. Orchidopexy is the surgical procedure performed to relocate the testes into the scrotal sac. This surgery is typically recommended between 6 to 12 months of age to prevent complications such as infertility and malignancy risk. The procedure involves a small incision in the groin or scrotum, mobilization of the testis, and securing it in the scrotal position.

Ureteric Reimplantation for Vesicoureteric Reflux (VUR)
Vesicoureteric reflux (VUR) is a condition where urine flows backward from the bladder into the ureters, increasing the risk of urinary tract infections and kidney damage. Ureteric reimplantation is a definitive surgical treatment that corrects the abnormal insertion of the ureters into the bladder, preventing reflux. The procedure involves repositioning the ureters at an appropriate angle within the bladder wall to create a functional anti-reflux mechanism.

Hypospadias and Chordee Repair
Hypospadias is a congenital anomaly where the urethral opening is located on the underside of the penis instead of the tip. It is often associated with chordee, a downward curvature of the penis. Surgical correction involves urethral reconstruction to reposition the meatus at the tip of the glans and chordee repair to straighten the penile shaft. This procedure is usually performed between 6 to 18 months of age to ensure normal urinary and reproductive function.
